Terms of Use
Effective 19 October 2026 · Company name TBC (ABN TBC), trading as Script Pilot AI
The agreement between you and Script Pilot for using scriptpilot.com.au, the app and the API.
In short
- You must be 18 or over. Start with a 14-day free trial; paid plans renew monthly until you cancel.
- Cancel any time: your plan runs to the end of the paid month, with no part-month refunds. Your Australian Consumer Law rights still apply.
- You own your content and the drafts. You’re responsible for checking and publishing them.
- These terms are governed by New South Wales law.
1.About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Company name TBC (ABN TBC), trading as Script Pilot AI (“Script Pilot”, “we”, “us”). They apply to scriptpilot.com.au, the Script Pilot app and the Script Pilot API (together, “the service”).
By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or older. If you use the service for a business, you confirm you’re authorised to accept these terms for it.
2.The service
Script Pilot helps you write social media drafts in your brand’s voice, review them and plan when they go out. Features marked “coming soon” or on our roadmap aren’t part of the service until we release them, and we don’t promise release dates.
We improve the service over time and may change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what you’ve paid for, we’ll tell you in advance and you can cancel.
3.Your account
- Give us accurate details and keep your email address up to date.
- Keep your password and API keys secret. You’re responsible for what happens under your account unless it results from our failure.
- Tell us straight away at support@scriptpilot.com.au if you think someone else has access to your account.
4.Free trial, plans and payment
- New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. No card is needed to start it. If you don’t choose a paid plan by the end of the trial, paid features stop.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically each month until you cancel.
- Prices are in Australian dollars and shown on our pricing. Each plan includes a monthly post allowance; unused allowance doesn’t carry over, and the Agency allowance is subject to fair use.
- If a payment fails, we’ll let you know. If it isn’t resolved, we may pause paid features until it is.
- We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price change applies to you. You can cancel before it takes effect.
5.Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time in Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for and then stops renewing. We don’t give refunds for part of a billing period.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If the service has a major failure, you’re entitled to a remedy, which may include a refund.
6.Your content and AI drafts
- You own your content. That includes what you put into Script Pilot and the drafts it writes for you, as far as the law allows ownership of AI-generated material.
- You give us permission to store, process and transmit your content, including sending it to our service providers, only as needed to run the service for you.
- You need the rights to anything you upload or add, including other people’s words, images and likenesses.
- You’re responsible for what you publish. AI drafts can be wrong, out of date, or similar to content written for others. Review every draft before publishing. Make sure your posts are accurate, not misleading, and follow the law (including the Australian Consumer Law and any rules for your industry) and each platform’s rules.
7.Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- create or publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading or deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that exploits children;
- impersonate anyone, infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy, or send spam;
- break the rules of a platform you publish to, or the usage policies of our AI provider;
- get around plan limits, share an account to avoid buying another plan, or resell the service without our written agreement;
- probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission, upload malicious code, or overload the service; or
- copy, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, except as the law allows.
8.Connected accounts
When you connect a social account, you authorise us to publish the posts you schedule to it. We only post what you’ve approved and scheduled. That platform’s own terms apply to your use of it, and we aren’t responsible for its outages, changes or decisions about your account. You can disconnect at any time.
9.The API
- API access is included with the Pro and Agency plans and stops if you move to another plan.
- Treat API keys like passwords. You’re responsible for requests made with your keys; revoke any key you think is exposed.
- Use the API as described in our developer documentation. We may limit request rates, and we may suspend a key that’s being misused or putting the service at risk.
- We’ll give reasonable notice before making changes that break existing integrations, except where an urgent security fix needs it.
10.Our intellectual property
We own the service, our software, the Script Pilot name and our designs. These terms give you a right to use the service, not ownership of it. If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them without obligation to you.
11.Availability
We work to keep Script Pilot available and your data safe, but we can’t promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may need to pause it for maintenance or to deal with security issues. Keep your own copies of anything important.
12.Suspension and ending these terms
You can stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, don’t pay, or your use puts other users, the service or us at risk. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
If your account closes, your data is handled as described in our Data Management Policy.
13.Consumer guarantees and liability
Our services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees or any other right you have that the law says can’t be excluded.
To the extent the law allows:
- where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it’s limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again;
- otherwise, our total liability to you under or in connection with these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim; and
- we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue or data, or for content you choose to publish.
You’re responsible for losses caused by content you publish or by your breach of these terms, to the extent you caused them.
14.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For changes that materially affect you, we’ll email you at least 30 days before they take effect, and you can cancel before then if you don’t agree. Smaller changes, such as clarifications, take effect when we publish them.
15.General
- These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of New South Wales.
- If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- These terms and the policies they refer to are the whole agreement between us about the service.
- We may transfer these terms to a buyer of our business, who must honour them. You need our consent to transfer them.
- We’ll send notices to your account’s email address. Send notices to us at support@scriptpilot.com.au.
